The Thistle Trophy

Originally the Thistle Trophy was awarded to the best new chop at the first run of the year, but after a travelling accident the original trophy was damaged beyond repair and the award of the Thistle Trophy by Chopper Club Scotland was put on ice.

In 2011 it was reintroduced with a new trophy and format.  It is now awarded annually at the Chopper Club Euro Run ride out, to any Chop, Trike or Street-fighter.  Our members pick the winning bike from the bikes that attend the ride out, the Trophy is presented to the winner on his Chop on the stage at the Euro Run awards ceremony later that evening.

It gives us great pride to award this trophy, and the choice of the winner is always a very difficult decision to make, as we have to judge some of the most outrageous and finest quality built customised machines that are ridden on the roads of the UK and Europe.  We hope that you all keep making the choice as hard as you have by keeping up the high standard that has been maintained over the past 50 years by the Chopper Club.
